Despite clear signage, vehicles were frequently speeding through work zones, putting workers at risk. They also faced challenges in identifying repeat offenders and lacked a reliable system to capture clear, recorded footage of near misses and safety breaches.

Vision Intelligence supplied RegCheck Radar, a rapidly deployable, solar-powered ANPR system designed for real-time vehicle tracking and speed enforcement. The system features 60 GHz radar for high-precision speed detection of up to 200 km/h, combined with NDAA-approved cameras that capture clear number plate images day and night. Data is processed through the VisioniBoard cloud platform, providing instant access to vehicle information including HD images, license plate number, vehicle speed, and automated reports. This enabled the customer to record detailed documentation of near misses and safety breaches, and provide Transport for NSW and police with the ability to take immediate enforcement action, flag repeat offenders, and track stolen vehicles.
